Damiaan Sprenger
Partner
Damiaan is Partner at Iconic Ventures and responsible for investment strategy, capital allocation, and platform development across the group.
He is an entrepreneurial investor with deep experience in energy transition, offshore and maritime assets, technical workforce solutions, technology and real assets. Prior to Iconic Ventures, Damiaan held senior commercial and board-level roles in global, complex, capital-intensive businesses, where he led acquisitions, financings, and large cross-border projects.
At Iconic Ventures, Damiaan focuses on identifying global arbitrage opportunities, structuring investments, and actively supporting portfolio companies through scale-up, governance, and strategic execution. His approach is commercially driven, data-led, and firmly grounded in real-world operating experience.

Dirk Kronemeijer
Managing Partner
Dirk is Managing Partner at Iconic Ventures, where he focuses on identifying investment opportunities, shaping investment theses, and raising capital across the firm’s platforms.
He is a serial entrepreneur and a recognized pioneer in the energy transition, having founded and scaled multiple market-defining companies including SkyNRG, GoodFuels, GoodShipping, and GoodZero. These ventures helped establish sustainable aviation fuel, marine biofuels, and insetting as commercially viable markets at global scale.
At Iconic Ventures, Dirk leverages his deep sector insight, regulatory understanding, and international network to originate high-conviction opportunities and align them with long-term capital partners. His strength lies in translating structural change and regulation into investable propositions that combine commercial returns with measurable impact.

Samed Sahin
Analyst
Samed is an Analyst at Iconic Ventures, where he focuses on investment analysis, market research, and policy-driven opportunity assessment, with a strong emphasis on energy markets and sustainability regulation.
He holds two Master’s degrees, one from the London School of Economics (LSE) and one from Boğaziçi University in Istanbul. His academic background underpins deep domain knowledge in energy economics, sustainability policy, and regulatory frameworks.
Prior to joining Iconic Ventures, Samed worked at an AI startup specializing in video analysis, where he gained hands-on exposure to data-driven product development and applied machine learning. At Iconic Ventures, he combines analytical rigor with technical understanding to support deal origination, due diligence, and portfolio analysis, translating complex market, policy, and technology dynamics into investment-relevant insights.
